New chickupload.com online

ChickUpload.com should be running smooth now

I just uploaded a 170mb zip of images to it.. the progress bar has finished and everything has worked fine 500 pictures. good work boys!

I just wondering about posted pics. Why do some of the images display five up and down (vertical) instead of five across (horizontal) like they did before the upgrade?

No big deal but would this happen if you posted 20 pix? That would make for a longass skinny post.

I logged in, named my gaellery, pressed create...and nothing happened

good point. it changed now at the new cu, have to edit the lot's of 20...

Same with me. I log in just fine, name my gallery then hit create and nothing happens.

Am I the only one who still can't get this to work?
The create gallery! button is dead for me. It does nothing, it doesn't even try to load or think or anything.

which browser do you use? is javascript & flash enabled?

after create gallery a flash button should appear

Works with you links, not the "partner sites" ones...

just internet explorer. That stuff should be enabled but then again i'm not very savy with computers so who knows.
Thanks for the other links, I'll just use those until I can figure it out.

20 is still available when you upload more then 20 pictures If you upload < 20 pictures the split 20 will not display.

I just uploaded a rar file that 133 pics in it and got no options to break them down into 5, 10, or 20.

did I miss something?

Right, about that. That fix set the door open for incrementing ids in the url. I refactored the entire action, so, closed that door and made it 741.739130435% faster. (no joke)

what's your security-level in IE?
Change it to high-normal or normal

scroll down in an album under the pictures
will add it in gallerycodes too

Thanks! That's the only issue I had with the new version, everything else works great!

I tried changing it to high and still can't get anything.

Renaming your galleries is possible, just click 'edit'. Adding pictures to galleries is currently not available, but might be a nice feature for the future. Maybe bribing wortel makes it happen sooner. Removing pictures is for admins only, you can report these pictures at copyright@chickupload.com. Perhaps a report feature is a good idea, wortel?
