I guess I have to make a thread for this. I can't get any mods to answer me. I've been trying to get help with this for days now. I was told that I have a video in que that's ridiculously large and I'd like it deleted please. The mod that told me about it said he was going to get help four days ago and now won't even return a message to me.
Also, if anyone else out there knows a good way to shrink down the file size of a video without making the quality much worse I'd really appreciate it. I don't know why my camera films such large files but I end up with an 8 min video that's over 300mb.
I'm not a movie mod but I'll point this thread out to Brownell and hopefully he'll be along shortly to help out.
What OS (Windows/Mac OS/Linux) do you use?
Oops. My bad, you PM'd me about this yesterday? and I forgot about it.
I saw that you had a 300 meg video in your queue, but, I didn't delete it because I was going to ask brownell or whatever.
Sorry.
I've had 2 videos in "W" for going on a month now. Since then I've even uploaded a 3rd one that went to "W" in less than a week and only stayed there for maybe a day before being approved. I can't upload anymore of my videos because I can't remember which ones those are. Is there anyone out there who can tell me what's going on with those?
Ask Diz to fix the system so movies are added to the gallery in the same order they're approved by the moderators.
Current system illustrated below;
WOW
Seriously?
So if this is the case then I should just have someone delete them and then upload them again.
I've been trying to PM Diz about this for a while now and can't get a response which is the only reason I posted here.
Movies that have been in "W" for a while are at the bottom of the pile. This is ridiculous! I really hope we can fix this with our new update.
Thanks brownell
Could it be because I changed them to 1280 width by 720 height? Maybe the system can't handle that or something.
There's got to be something wrong. Everytime I upload a video 720 by 480 it gets approved and uploaded with no problem but when I change it to 1280 by 720 it just sits in there.
