Movie Parallel Downloads

Hi,

I signed up for sponsor membership which should allow up to 8 parallel downloads from the movies section. However, I can only get two at a time. While these two are downloading, I can't even go to another page on the site - I am locked until one of the downloads ends.

What gives ?

That's weird? I am able to download at least 5 at a time(haven't tried with more). The only thing is that two of them download very fast, and the rest seem to drag along, yet they are still downloading.

only just tried this, and yeah... im only allowed 2 aswell

I don't download anything here, but I do download part of programs for my work.
And I had to modify something in Windows, so that I would be able to download more than 2 things at the same time.

Now I can download upto 8 per time, although it is not very fast anymore, if you download in big volumes.

I don't know if it's still the same, but IE was always limited to 2 downloads at a time.

when i used firefox thats what happened to me, but since ive switched to opera, ive had no trouble

That's correct screwy.one, but if you modify the registery a little bit, you will be able to download more than just 2.
I'm still looking for the description I got (a long time ago), on 1 of the many many many cd's I burned for backup.

Yeap, you're right.
The text I had was just a little bit different, but it all adds up to the same thing.

I usually get the 2 parallel at a time too.

But sometimes I've been albe to dl more at the time.
Might have something to do with traffic and connections also...

i can only dl 2 at a time
