after the upload process you see a screen that tells you if you may have accidnetially uploaded pics that are allready in the gallery. So please check that screen next time you upload pics.

yes a notification why pics werent uploaded would be nice. but think about it the other way round: by about 14k pics a week that are added and about double the number that were declined this system would crash the servers within seconds.
