Just an Idea

When mods delete a picture that has already been accepted by another mod, could that mod not message the user to explain why they decided the picture should be deleted.

Iv had many pictures "disappear" and i think it would be nice to know why.

Just an idea.

For all the years that i was a moderator i think i've heard this suggestion probably 654610063016541065109804632130043085 times

And while it is a very good idea and would have great purpose, it's not as simple as all of that. The time that it would add to moderating the pictures is so ridiculous i can't even try to put a number on it (time wise). The moderators literally go through 10s of thousands of pictures a week, it's a never ending pile, there is no bottom. It's kind of like swimming against the current


To have to take the time to send each member a PM when rejecting or deleting (after acceptance) would make it almost impossible to get anything done.

The easiest solution would be if there were check boxes for the mods to click before deleting with a few simple examples (underage, repost, pro, other, etc) that would have the system automatically send out a pre-written automatic message to the member after the delete. But that would be a lot of programming, and still add a lot of time to the process. Don't really know if there is an answer for this one.

Because a lot of the picture mods don't have an all encompassing knowledge of girls or porn pictures. Right now as I look through your queue (first page), you have an image of Cherrie from SouthernCharms in your uploads. Not all of the mods know that, but some do. But yeah, being informed afterwards would be nice.

Even this doesn't really work, as members wouldn't know which picture was deleted for what reason; only that a pic was deleted. Also, its possible that some members would have 40-50 pictures rejected in a day, so they would then get 50 messages, and then complain that wbw is spamming them.

Unfortunately there is no solution to this problem that would work 100%.

It could always have the preview thumbnail in the PM. But that's just getting into the ridiculously elaborate.

Also, i plan on spamming SP with 50 messages a day.

We could add a reason system for removal for online pictures..... This would be in the next version after launch for the new one...

That would be great
The simpler would be the check boxes for generic reasons with a "other" possibility.
And to avoid the PM spam for each pic, maybe only send an automatic PM every x days or so with all the pics rejected in that time lapse, with a thumb if database permits it.

Yep with checkboxes was what I was thinking.. We could even add this in the "moderate queue". If a mod wants to add a reason.

Hell yeah.. This is great..

If you want to go that far, how about adding any notes that an uploader might have given with a pic they uploaded to the delete Q, that way if we are uncertain about a pic, and it has a note, it can be looked at more carefully instead of us just figuring it's a repost or whatnot...
