Verify that Active Scripting, ActiveX, and Java are not blocked...
Start Internet Explorer/On the Tools menu, click Internet Options/In the Internet Options dialog box, click Security/Click Default Level/Click OK.

Try removing all your temp internet files...
Start Internet Explorer/On the Tools menu, click Internet Options/Click the General tab/Under Temporary Internet files, click Settings/Click Delete Files/Click OK/Click Delete Cookies/Click OK/Under History, click Clear History, and then click Yes/Click OK.

It could also be a DirectX component on your computer that is corrupt or outdated... go to windows update and get latest version.

Failing all that mate... get yourself a new browser like Firefox or Opera.

Downloading the lastest java console from sunsystems might help also

I will say this once again, JavaScript has NOTHING to do with Java!
And installing new Java console from sun website does not affect JavaScript in any way!

JavaScript is a scripting language to program scripts for websites, i.e. some functions in this site use JavaScript, but there's no Java on this site.

Ususally JavaScript errors occur only in sites that are coded badly, and those "JavaScipt error on line ..." error are just those, it says that there is a faylty codeline on the source, which there is not because I'm not getting any errors from the site...

You do have Javascript enabled?

I still say get Mozilla Firefox or Mozilla 1.7

and update everything on your comp from WinUpdate, especially the browser-related stuff if you want to continue using bugged non-standard security-hole.

Defragmentate your hard-drives and do chkdisk on your c:-drive.

Just some points ....

Wit is correct. Java and Javascript are two different things. Java is a server/client side application that allows interaction between a site. Javascript is a client side only application.

The only reason I suggested it, was simply because by installing a java console will repair any errors you may have in your java scripting. In short your OOP Language.

Where as they run completely independently to one another, they still all use the same source language.

From experience with autCAD scripting errors, installing a console has fixed the basic scripting core.

Spht, you have to look beyond the java applet and scripting differences sometimes.
