Ellis, I post about a hundred pics every couple of days as zip files. I'm sorry you're having trouble keeping up, but I don't have any intention of uploading less just because you have a dial-up connection!

For the record:
We see one pic at a time. We don't see pics in order of posting. I know hopping bunny and I do at least 600-750 pics a night. Minimum. I imagine the other pic mods see and approve just as many.
We are not without making mistakes. We are trying to get as many pics approved, as humanly possible.
We also see the same pics, over and over again. We see poeple that post obvious copyrighted pics. We see people that post pics with Urls on them. We see obvious pro pics. We see duplicates. There are some people that ignore the rules, but we still have to review thier uploads.
We are not perfect. We understand that many of you have pics waiting in the queue. We are trying to get the queue cleared, honest.
If we screw up, and delete a pic that you feel was legit, we apologize.
But you must cut us a break... the pic you saw for the first time today, someone else may have seen last week. If you have personally captured a pic from a webcam. you might not be the onlyone that saw that webcam.
Look at the sheer number of members. Look at the total numbers of pics that have already been approved.
And trust me, there is no glory in moderating pics. It's just our way of giving back to Diz and Senja, what they have made available for all of us.
