Here is the final draft version of the new upload rules. I welcome your input on these rules, and if there's anything I've overlooked, don't hasitate to reply to this thread.

Let's keep the discussion focused on the rules; this is not the appropriate thread for grievances about denied uploads or issues with moderators.

---

Only women-centric content is allowed

The content should focus on and revolve around individuals who are biologically female. Transgender content is not permitted.

All individuals must be a minimum of 18 years old

All individuals featured in uploaded content must be a minimum of 18 years old, including those appearing in the background or any photos within the background.

Copyrighted or Celebrity content is not allowed

Ensure that you have the right to upload the content. Respect copyright laws and refrain from uploading material that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

Refrain from uploading content featuring celebrities, professional models or material behind a paywalls (such as OnlyFans etc.). Photography sessions with amateur models are permitted.

Watermarked content is not allowed

Content must be free of watermarks, logos, stamped text, or promotions, with the exception of timestamps.

Fake / AI / Altered content is not allowed

Examples of fake content include manipulations of the human body, such as alterations or modifications through video/photo editing software or AI. This includes the modification through tools like Snapchat filters.

AI-generated content refers to digital material, like images, or videos, produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence technologies.

Altered content includes actions such as taking a screenshot or screen recording, as well as cropping the content to eliminate a watermark, for instance.

The exception to these rules is that you are allowed to blur/hide faces to make them unrecognisable.

Gross / Gore / Joke content is not allowed

Gross and Gore Content includes material featuring scat, feces, vomit, menstrual blood, urination, and/or blood.

Low quality content is not allowed

Resolutions below the specified criteria are not accepted upon upload:
- Videos must have a minimum resolution of 240x240.
- Images must have a minimum resolution of 720x720.

Submissions that are out of focus, blurry, overexposed, underexposed or exhibit heavy compression artifacts will be declined.

It crops the picture weirdly though. Unless it's just a preview issue, not sure.
Edit : nevermind, just tested it, and while the rotated preview is cropped, if the upload is accepted, the picture appears fully.
It does screw with reverse search engines though

What is the criteria for determining if an individual is 18 years old? Is it going to be left to the whim of each mod, as it is now?
I have made a suggestion to put all the questionable pics into a separate queue and get a consensus from all the mods. I was told it would add too much time to moderating pictures, but at over 30 days wait right now it seems like even a day or two more is hardly a problem. First of all you can’t get that many underage pics each day, and once you have a consensus from the mods you can send the pic back to the original uploader as accepted or rejected and clear the queue. At least that way all the mods would have seen the girl in question and wouldn’t be inclined to upload her picture that another mod has rejected.

Copyrighted or Celebrity content is not allowed

Refrain from uploading content featuring celebrities, professional models or material behind a paywalls (such as OnlyFans etc.). Photography sessions with amateur models are permitted.

There seems to be a lot of confusion and issues with pics being rejected that aren’t pro/model, and others being uploaded that are pro/model.
Here again a separate queue would allow all the mods to have input if one knows she is a pro/model, or if none have seen her before. There might be a few uploaded each day, but it can’t take more than a few seconds for the mods to give a thumbs up to upload, or write a quick comment to say she is on ‘Onlyfans’ or some other platform not allowed. As with the underage queue the pics are returned to the uploader when the mods have finished voting and pics aren't left in the queue.

The specifications are for minimum size, but what is the criteria for grainy, blurry, overexposed, and underexposed? Is this also going to be left to the whim of each moderator? It would also be helpful to add some way for a member to tell the moderators he/she has taken the photo and cropped it. Right now all cropped pics are rejected and a member has to go through the hassle of contacting a mod to get it straightened out.

I request that you add the following rule addition under Fake / AI / Altered content: "Alterations to improve picture quality such as removing red eyes, improving exposure lighting, and correcting color depiction is allowed."

Thanks!

I am going to create a page with the new rules... only have to create a nice layout for it. If anybody has example pages for good formated rules I would love suggestions.. else I am going to find some good designs.

“ Photography sessions with amateur models are permitted.”

What separates a professional from amateur model? The quality of the camera/lighting?
Makeup?

Ie a ‘professional’ model taking a iPhone photo vs an amateur w the latest Canon?

If the model is making money from modelling, she's pro. That's the definition of a professional : making money from your activity.
So the quality of the shot doesn't matter in that regard.
Someone who did great looking shots for fun and uploaded them on the internet would be considered amateur
A bad quality selfie of a pornstar is considered pro as the model is a professional

The consensus process is a good idea, especially for subjective matters such as age and quality. But it would increase moderation time since a picture would not need to be viewed by one mod but several of them. Sure it wouldn't double it but still would take additionnal time. I'm not opposed to it, but we'd need more mods then (and also a system to be designed for it).

Not sure if it's useful for pro as it's not something subjective (someone is either pro or not). What could be used for better feedback though could be to be able to add a note that the uploader can see (to add the name of the model or onlyfans or whatever). But same, it adds some time, even if that's not a lot, it can add up quickly especially with the big amount of pro content that's uploaded in general.

Firstly I never realised that there are so many models/celebrities in the world. I'm worried that one moderator on this thread has said that they work on a "hunch" and another about 2 years ago said he always rejects pictures from Reddit. These comments and actions don't exactly fill me with confidence that the moderating process is robust and fit for purpose. Recently I have had pictures rejected for being "underage". If I'm in any doubt I don't upload. The girl in the pics that I have had rejected is actually 23 years of age and if anyone bothered to contact me I could have pointed them to her profile. I have checked sites like Tineye etc for other pics that have been rejected for being a model/celebrity and have found no matches! Again, I am not confident in the abilities of the moderators. And finally; who are the moderators? Why don't they have the courage to identify themselves and put their name on the pics that they reject?

That is twice now that you keep mentioning the "hunch" I mentionned without having read the rest of my reply. Each time I mentionned it, I said that if I feel like something might be pro, I verify it (usually through reverse search. Tineye isn't good for pros, try google or yandex instead). If I can't confirm the pic is pro, I'll accept it (provided it respect the other rules as well of course).
Not sure why you keep missing that info despite replying to you twice about it.

As for the underage topic, it's been adressed already. Refer to the other replies on the same subject. Unless you have solid proof that the person rejected as underaged is not, we can't know for sure, and an internet profile isn't a solid proof as anyone can put whatever age they want on those. So we can only base our judgement on what the woman looks like, including those that are questionnable because this is not a risk that we're willing to take when it comes to that subject.

Finally, you can identify mods from the little shield icon under our level / avatar. There used to be a list of mods somewhere in the forums, not sure it's still here or up to date.

The only photos it would add moderation time to are the ones deemed to be underage or pro. You can't have that many pics rejected as underage everyday so that would hardly increase moderation of the other pics. At least it would keep pics from one member being rejected, but accepted from another member. That seems to be one of the biggest issues here.
As for the pro/models it would help if Diz simply made it mandatory that the mods had definite proof someone was a pro before rejecting them. It seems like some pics get rejected simply because they 'look' like a pro.

These are your words. Perhaps if it was mandatory for all the mods, there wouldn't be so many complaints about pics being rejected.

Here again on the underage issue, it's a judgement call by the mods, so doesn't it make sense to at least get a consensus from several of them before rejecting a pic as underage? If all the mods saw a pic that was rejected it would cut down on a pic being rejected by one mod and accepted by another, sometimes the very same photo of the girl in question. On that same issue, if a pic gets rejected as underage and the member is penalized, what happens if the same pic is uploaded and accepted by another mod? Are the penalty points removed? Is the pic rejected again and the other member also penalized? Just exactly what happens when it's reported? This question has never been answered .

Last but not least, are we supposed to go through the whole list of members to find out which ones are mods? That little shield does absolutely no good unless we go looking for it, or you make a comment on one of these forums. A list would be nice in case we want a response from someone besides the very few that now reply on these forums.
