Favorite downloading

My apologies if this has been discussed already, I did some searching but my skills suck, please lock if so.

I have a large number of favorites, over 10k now. When I recently tried to download a zip it starts the compiling process but stops after a few hundred pictures are complete, or just a couple %. I can refresh and get it to count up another couple hundred, but eventually this does not do anything any longer and the count starts over. I tried this in firefox and edge, though not chrome yet. It used to be that I hit download and then come back in an hour or so and it would be ready to download. Now that does not seem to be the case with the count starting up again each time.

Any suggestions? Apart from removing some of my favorites

I have to look into a way to download such huge favorites. Maybe a processing and send link later.

I have had this problem as well and only have 639 favorite photos. The "preparing file" progress bar needs to be cancelled and then click the download button again a number of times when it hangs but then it always stops and cannot proceed any further when it gets to "preparing file" at 556 of 639. It never goes past that number.

OK - so on Chrome now got to 98.41%, through constant refreshing when the process stops each time (about every 4%). Now has completely stopped. I have removed 200, but it still stops on 98.42%, so it's not about quantity I wouldn't have thought.

Looking forward to the fix!

You have gotten farther than I have. For a while the download feature didn't work at all. Now, it is back to preparing the file and hangs at 88.9% but won't go beyond that.

The download feature is totally broken. Now, for some reason, a recent "favorite" is a broken link. There is no way to remove that as a favorite and the download "preparing file" simply hangs at that point (roughly 10 pictures in).

Still broken for me, 4 months after creating this thread. Its pretty sad, I'd love to be able to download my, admittedly, large favorite collection. I can't get past 55%, and thats after hours of refreshing.

This is as far as I can get, 58%. I know, its a ton of pics, but still, it should be able to compile and download with enough time.
