Hey, that's a good idea - let's make a thread with links to all the stickies. Even if it goes down to page 10 people will find it sooner than the sticked links.

I was serious, nobody reads stickies.

except for one thing, when you hit the buddy or pm tabs, under the mods name the same thread is loaded

The PM buttons work as they should. The buddy list buttons are supposed to do that, the name is still added to your list.
