Case of the Disappearing Uploads...

I can't seem to find an admin account to send a message to, so posting here...

I uploaded 20 videos last night, and checked after each one that it appeared in my queue. When I had finished the Moderator Queue showed 20 uploads waiting approval. This morning, only some 6 hours later, when I checked, it now only says 1 upload waiting, but no credit added to my account.

I am quite sure the videos meet the requirements of uploading, so I am not sure of the reasons why the uploads "disappeared" (all but 1, which is still unapproved).

They we're probably deleted for being reposts.

If you didn't get any credits for the one which made it though, you should talk to Diz There is a known bug with the movies in which credits aren't being given out even after the videos are accepted.

Did you look under the sofa. That is usually where I find stuff. That or the dryer...

if the movies are removed from the queue and are not showing up as being uploaded in your stats, they have been deleted.
2 main reasons for being deleted: pro-movie or repost

but you may want to talk to an admin about that:

I have sent a message to a movie mod in any case. But yes, it would be nice if a movie gets rejected, the reason is fed back to the user somehow. What bugs me is that 19 out of the 20 disappear, but 1 was left behind, and it happened "very" quickly (I always thought the delay time for approval was quite a "long" time due to the number of uploads).

Either I have uploaded dupes, or pro work, or you guys are missing out on 20 new videos :P

Congratulations. Atleast you got your movies looked at. I've had 3 in queue for over a year now. I can't even beg to get one looked out.

I have a movie upload in queue for almost a year....

*edit*...southpaw makes a good point, how can we both have movies in queue for over a year that have yet to be moderated? He had 19 movies rejected in one night.

I understand that they come up at random when you guys are modding them...maybe thats not the best way to do things?

One of them went through for him. Ain't that just a kick square in the nuts for those of us who have had the enqueued for over a year....

are you sure that your stats showed 20 movies in queue?

Random my ass. Shit doesn't happen randomly. All the movies get backlogged and others just keep piling up on top of those making it longer and pretty much impossible for any of us to have our movies go threw.

They might as well delete my 3 that I do have in queue and let me start over. After all, they're probably reposts by now.

I have seen the one movie that was in the database and that one was a very professional photoshoot. I think also that you see something wrong because we have 23.000 movies in the queue and the mods get them randon so it's hard to believe we got all you movies in one day. Just be glad it got modded. My movies have been sitting in the queue for months which is the same story for a lot of the members.

Well I could be wrong...I thought I read a thread where diz or senja said they come up at random rather than in the order they were submitted?


I just took a look at the "movies" added this week.

31 of the 45 "movies" added are less than 60 seconds in length....

I think the whole movie upload/credit process should be changed to produce a better product...I did not renew my sponser membership because of my dissapointment in the "movies" section.

Im not trying to bash anyone...just trying to give some constructive criticism
