Can I link to just one post?

I know I used to be able to do this prior to the switch to WBW version.whateverthisoneis.

If you played with the numbers in the page URL you could make each thread page only one post long, and then direct someone, via link, to just the post you wanted to link them to.

I can't seem to be able to do it with this new version though...I've tried goofing with the url and things, but it just doesn't seem to work.

Sometimes I just want to send someone to one specific post, and they need not read all the others in whatever thread I'm linking to...plus, this might be appreciated by those on horseback and living in the 18th century dialup, like Honda.

Just curious.

why dont you just click on the post number of the post and itll give you the direct link to it?

edit: i just reread your post, my very obvious and probably wrong suggestion wouldnt be helpful for the dialup situation though

That's sort of what I'm talking about.

Except, without the nine other posts. Like, I typically browse WBW at 20 posts per page. So, if use one of those links in a thread with a lot of pictures or something, people who go to the post I linked to will have to load all that extra crap (in my case, the 19 other posts that aren't what I'm linking to). So I was just wondering if there was a way I could link to posts individually.

that would be a helpful function if you were able to do that, but i dont think thats possible with the way its set up :P
