Babe rating explanation

Dear WBW-Team,

thanks for the great job you are doing over the years.

Based on my finding that Babe Picture rating overproportionally is "1" (very bad) and very often "1" is even rated for pics that by no means deserve a "1" I anticipate that some users do not understand the rating system and think that "1" means the best rating they may give.

Rating "1": 6.82 %
Rating "2": 0.39 %
Rating "3": 0.78 %
but the pic is in the TOP 20.


Thus I propose to make this more clear, e.g. indicate "very bad -> very good" or "disgusting -> super hot" next to the rating scale.

This has been a problem for a long time.

Some members vote one on a lot of pictures of hot girls...well, for no damn good reason. They like to see other people get upset, perhaps.

But it's not like we're going to stop them any time soon.

Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I agree tottally with the fact that some people just thrive off of hearing people get upset cause of a rate or a comment they have given on a photo. I myself never give a comment on a photo that I think is disgusting or ugly. I know im not the best looking but I do know how upsetting it is to see or hear an ugly comment about me. But if its a low rating unless tons of low ratings are given it does not bother me as much. But for some reason a comment given does more damage mentally I guess due to the fact that someone took the time to sit there and say something.

I do have to say that if there was some kind of wording beside each of the rates or maybe every other number some people might not rate as bad on a photo that they once might have done. Also I find it funny that a person that is rating very low or giving a nasty comment on a photo, they themselves are usually hiding behind some made up icon or photo that isnt even themselves cause they themselves would be rated very low or given a nasty comment back cause they are butt ugly too.

I agree with all the comments. I think we can start our own sub-section club indicating our membership in our signature. I don,t think I have ever given less than 5 as If someone has taken the effort of up-loading it is more than my pathetic efforts. Thanks to all the posters. Correction I may have given lower figures but that's due to my incompetence as I click when the screen is jumping about. At my age you get a little doddery. To compensate I have scored a 10 on uploads where I feel the score is unwarranted...Long live the revolution. Any one an idea on the name for our new club. Fair deal for the fair sex perhaps, or Fair Figures for Fair Sex..4FS?

I think that everyone has different views of beauty and sexual attraction. For me, fat chicks and ladies with plastic titties are just a non starter, show stopper, and incredibly unattractive that they always get a "1" from me. Regardless.

I guess that puts me in the role of a contrarian, but in good conscience I've got to vote low....and against the trend.

No, in the past I've made that exact same argument when these threads have arisen. And I do think that individual preferences are likely responsible for lots of very low votes.

But at the same time, I'm fairly confident that there's a good number of people here who just vote "1" on any picture in the top five on the front page, or vote "1" on every picture that they didn't upload, or other some such nonsense.

And then those types of people read threads like this and get their jollies from it. Or at least some small level of satisfaction.

Agreed.

Some also have a vested interest in voting low especially in the top ten. It makes their UL keep it's higher rating.

Even happens in the car gallery. You see a string of ones on hot ass UL's.

I understand that everyone has their types and preferences but voting "1" on any upload that isn't absloutely disgusting is just being a dick. Maybe the chick has tattoos or fake boobs or something you don't particularly care for. Is this actually deserving of a "1" vote? "That's like me voting "10" for every girl I find attractive. I think if more people voted in the 3-5 range for pics they didn't care for, the ratings would probably reflect better. However, this topic has been much debated and there really isn't any way to control the ratings system.

I've spoken to members that say the girl could be the absolute hottest girl on earth, but if she's not nude, then she gets a one. Is this being narrow minded? Yes. Is it being a dick? Yes. Are they entitled to their opinion? Yes.
