I recently started posting pics again after a long time off and I've been downloading pics from the same sites that I used to source from back in the day. However, so far every single photo that has hit moderation has either been rejected because it apparently shows a professional or celebrity (which they definitely don't) or because they've apparently been altered in some way (again, they definitely haven't, as I don't do anything to them).

The 1200 or so pics I've had accepted in the past all came from the same place and were accepted without issue, so I'm unclear as to what's going on. It's especially confusing because over the past month I've reported at least one pic of Jennifer Lawrence, one with a blatant watermark and another one of the cartoon character Smurfette! I mean, if they can make it past moderation, what I am doing wrong?!

This isn't a dig, as I love this site to bits, I'm just a bit disappointed that I can apparently no longer contribute.

The pics rejected as pro looks like they are camgirls. They are considered pro and copyrighted material we do not allow on the site.
As for the "altered" reason, it can mean different things. The most usual ones are borders (not the case of your pics), filters (some of them), picture cropped (most of them).

Keep in mind that the moderation process goes as follow:
- pics that are too small are automatically rejected when you upload them
- the queue mods will do a first quick check on the queue cleaning it from what they can see
- the picture reaches the normal moderation process after a while and is either accepted or rejected

Since mods are humans, some pics will be accepted even though they shouldn't have (slipped through the queue mod initial check and wasn't noticed by the mod who accepted it) but I do believe moderation has improved for the last few years. The fact you get less pictures accepted could be either due to this moderation process or just the fact you didn't get lucky with the pics you took from the website (that could also have changed his sources).

Hope it's clear enough ^^

In a similar vein; Evosonic posted an outstanding thread recently Awsome Curves, it was deleted almmost emtirly because it wasn't Hotlinked. Now i dom't know what that means and i don't thinkhe does either. So instead of losing the whole thread could't it just be frozen and the poster helped to get it right?

Thanks Omuh, that kind of clears things up but I'm still confused as to why so many are being rejected for being cropped. As I said before, I've not altered them, so what are the mods picking up on? Would be handy to know, so I don't keep uploading photos that are going to be rejected.

Well, the rules are here to explain how things work. If someone doesn't bother to read them before posting and breaks them, I don't feel like mods should take on their own free time to fix what someone just ignored.
Sure if someone just mess up his post or has trouble formatting it correctly, I'll try to fix it if I can. But in this specific case, pro/watermarked pictures can't be attached directly to a post, for copyright reasons. There is no way to fix it apart from asking the poster to start again by hotlinking the pictures (displaying the picture while hosted somewhere else).
Maybe some rules should be clearer, but they are already pretty straight forward if you take a few minutes to read them.

From what I see in your log, it's especially one series that was cropped. The rest is mainly filters.
There are two main reasons cropped pictures are deleted :
- they are copyrighted and the watermark has been removed
- they are duplicate and the original already is within the galleries (I usually delete them as "duplicate" to avoid punishing uploaders for a crop that isn't necessarily intentional). This prevents having galleries where the same pics are posted over and over only cropped slightly differently everytime (and I have to deal with daily reports from this kind of duplicate, mainly from old pictures where this rules was either left out or with less tools to be enforced).

So you may not have cropped an image yourself, but somewhere in the gallery is a larger version of the same photo, meaning the site you got the image from must have cropped it?

And if it is a linguistic issue and lack of technical knowledge from someone who is just trying to make a contribution?

I demand that the mods wipe for me as well. I refuse to be a functioning adult, and everyone else should go out of their way to abide to my wishes. Now someone feed me, and burp me.

And just because english isn't his first language you conclude that he isn't able to know what hotlink is ?
Did you even asked him about it ?

Yeah most likely. Content on the internet keeps getting reposted evertime. We have pics here that are from 10 years ago and are still reposted now. So it's obvious you can find many different version of one pictures with different sizes/quality etc. But no need to have all those version in the galleries, the "original" is enough.

Brazil also has some models, like every where else in the world.
Many people often think their uploads are 100% amateur until a mod points out who the model/camgirl is...

Which is why I questioned the fact that maybe some rules aren't clear enough. I've been considering rewriting them with the same format as the uploading rules so that unless you don't speak english at all (or don't read them) there is no way to not understand them.

Brazil has 200 million habitants, is the 5th largest country in the world. It has a huge amount of amateur porn out every day, only I know about 5 sites with unique contents that are updated every day. I do not even put half the stuff I see, so I have no need to deceive you and put pictures of models / camgirls. it is clear that Brazil has models, or rather especially Brazil is known for its models (eg the victoria secrets), what I meant is that Brazilian women are very beautiful and do a lot workout, so normal girls look like models .
Finally I want to ask who are you to realize more than me about Brazil and their women ?! then the argument to be professional models does not work with my photos. I still remember the most unfair if I had here when I put pictures of a milf taken by herself in front of a mirror, something completely amateur, and you refuse almost all photos (curiously accepted 3 pictures with worse quality); and classify them as celebrity / model ...

First of all, I am not the only mod on the site but I do have some experience being a queue mod.
Secondly, many people keeps thinking their uploads are 100% amateur while they are not. Then they start complaining about mods not doing their job properly like you do. I recall some of your uploads that I have deleted, and just googling them gave me the name of the models... I don't need to know Brazil or any other country women for that. One of the model you post a lot is Gisela Avendano for example. So yeah... you do post some professional models.

first of all I was referring to material that I post from Brazil representing about 70% of my posts here. so its not only Brazilian material so what I meant is that I have 100% confidence in this material. now the remaining 30% from other countries can not control as easily. second I know you're not the only moderator, but since you were the one to come here you have to hear things, it is a pity that the remaining people will probably agree with me not here to debate as well. Yes, because this is a debate I will not accusing you of anything i'm just saying to all moderators being more careful because it has happened some unfair situations, as of course moderators make mistakes, just like us! Third this "model" that you speak had never heard of it and the own Google also did not hear much, but ok I accept criticism and accept that
at the beginning i put some questionable material but now I improved and unfair situations to which I refer are of about two or three months here. At last I wanted to mention that I think I deserve some credit because in less than a year here i already be at level 6 i think that few can, so at least deserve some consideration. only I wanted to leave some suggestions such as you have more staff to help approve videos and photos, should have at least one moderator per most spoken language (thus became easier to solve problems like this) and also should give more credits to videos than the pictures, the proportion currently benefits who puts pictures, a photo does not compare to one minute movie!
