the girls are cute, but does anyone know where this shipwreck is? this would be the perfect background for several photoshoots. girls and artistic photo's. any help would be greatly appreciated in finding this place. thanks in advance

I don't know where those chicks are, but there's a ship graveyard in Mauritania, I think, if I remember correctly, where aging ships were just abandoned.

Its in the Canaries of the coast of Fuertaventura I know coz i was there in june and october of 2007 and swam near this wreck but it is less of a ship than is in the pic now.

thanks for everyones help, that is surely the american star. It also appeaps that another ship has been beached behind it or is passing very close to it, cant really tell, but cargo boxes are still on the deck. you guys pointed me in the right direction and I will find out all the details soon enough. thanks again

just realized the 2nd ship is only in the pic creepus posted. the first one looks much better, being able to see the ocean through the rustout's in the bottom of the ship. looks like i need to get there soon, before its completely gone.
There are a lot of shipwrecks. Old ships in the eastern hemisphere just get beached then people salvage what they can from them. There is a store here in West Palm Beach called "Culpeppar Shipping", the owner and his son take trips to bring various ship parts to sell. It's quite cool.
