Hi,

wouldn't say that 'bint' is automatically a derogatory term - for example 'bird' has similar connotations to bint in the part of the UK I'm from, ie it is used in an ironic sense - so either both are acceptable - or not - and in some regards I would talk about someone being a bint/ bird - but personally think that Milf is by its nature deregotary (i.e on the basis would you ever call someone a milf to their face? - if you wouldn't it to their face its probably derogatory).

just my two p's worth - am perfectly happy if the site wants to state its going to run on US definitions of 'derogatory'.

It's not so much that as it is trying to be as inoffensive as possible. A word may be derogatory in one country, but not in another. Seeing as how we have members from many countries, it's best to play it safe.

Ibn is Arabic for son,as in "ibn al kalb",(son of a dog) derogatory.
