I mean, I suppose you could upload the actual picture to your computer, then from your computer send it to your phone, and then from your phone send it to someone else, but that just seems like a convoluted way of doing it which is probably pretty unlikely.

But then again, I've never sent self-shot nudes to other people, so, maybe I just don't know the proper procedures.
