Hi any of the adobe photoshop type programs will convert your bit maps inport as bit map and then save as a jpeg or tiff. and its free to use off there site for 30days cheers hope it helped. Steve..........

changing the extension does not compress the image, you can use any photo editor, even MS Paint, to "Save As" jpg.
