I went to both my 5 and 10 year reunions. You'd better believe I dressed up... tried to get a good balance between sexy and classy, because looking like a whore would have been disasterous. My goal was to flaunt it subtley. For the 10-year reunion, I was even modeling by then... so I brgouht a binder with some printed photos. *smirk* My mantra for my reunions was... "Go ahead and make fun of my thick curly hair and call me Afro-Woman now that it's long, morons!"

Especially at the 10-year, many of my classmates looked older than their atual ages... and most strangers still guess that I'm between 19 and 22 most of the time if they don't know my age (actually 29, will be 30 in December).

I am proud of who I am and thankful for my genes! Thanks for the compliment... I'll keep posting as long as the respect is here and I have more to post... !

Thanks again everyone for the compliments. I'm really not offended if not everyone thinks I'm model material. Hey, I'm just flattered that photographers are actually willing to pay me to take photos of me. My goal is not to be 'perfect' in any way shape or form. My goal is to be MYSELF as imperfect and human as I am. Yes, I have an appendix scar that I am proud of and don't cover up for photos. I have other natural "imperfections" as well and they make me who I am, just as EVERYONE's imperfections do the same for them. I have met some people who seem to have no flaws and they scare me.

Thank you, Stang, for your comment on being approachable. It's a big compliment to me! That is something I really strive for. One of my pet peeves are people who put me on a pedestal and bow at my feet. That's not what I want and it gets frustrating! I'm a lot more interested in being a real person that others can talk to and get to know as more than just another female online with pictures. Do I get messages in my private mailbox? Sure I do. They get answered honestly and individually. The only ones that are ignored are rude ones.
