Great idea for a thread. I have pictures which would fit here but they were found on a mobile phone. I dont know the owner so I dont think I can post??? Anybody advise!!!

This photographer seems to have made a thing of this type of photo - getting normal women and shooting them in standard poses dressed and naked.

It's interesting that some look better dressed, others naked - like real life.

Also looking at their faces 'before' and 'after', some look like they are finding it tough to put themselves up naked for public inspection. Don't know why.

These always remind me of police mugshots.

Perhaps they should make them compulsory for passports and those office security passes - only for women, of course.

I have seen hundreds of similar photos posted in the newsgroups. My understanding is that back in the 60's women who were attending some schools were asked to participate in "posture studies", and that all were photographed dressed and undressed. There were apparantly separate studies for Asian women as well. Subsequently these studies were discredited and deemed sexist and racist(there were no similar studies for men).

Of course the photos eventually leaked out and found their way onto the internet. Originally there were 8 or 10 pics per subject taken from various angles and arranged in one row. This particular link uses only the frontal shots, and has very cleverly arranged them to have the nudes pop up behind the dressed. My compliments to whoever did this.

Going back to the prior postings: I stated that the women were "asked" to participate. Actually, in some cases it was compulsory, which is probably why many of them don't look so happy.

a lot of girls look better with clothes then they do naked. Others look better naked but that's a lot more rare. Some girls that look stunning in clothes will take em off and be saggy n shit.

I agree, and many of the pics posted here bear that out. As to naked women looking better, occasionally, I will see a pic of a naked woman and think to myself, "I wonder how she'd look in a pair of tight jeans." Probably means I'm looking at too much porn.
