In all honesty, if she's thinking of getting into porn, and has any sort of personality, get her on a cam site. Some of those girls are making $75,000 a month. Its a good way for her to test the industry without having to sell her soul to some sleazy agent, she sets her own hours and schedule, and does what she's comfortable with. I'm not saying she's gonna be making that kind of money to start, but she could easily be making $10,000 a month if she's pretty and talkative.

Exactly. Even attractive women can have a hard time making a decent living off porn. You have to some quality that would make you memorable to get guys and girls to want to see more of you. A lot of that will be in personality to push them over the edge.

Of course, that's the question isn't it? Can she make a really good living at porn, as opposed to making money? As some earlier posts mentioned, any woman can make money in porn. I mean, we've all seen some real skanks in porn films, right? But while you're saying, "There's no way I'd fuck that girl or let her suck me," there's another guy who thinks she's hot and is jerking off to her and buying her vids. And contrary to what sugarpie mentioned, I've researched some of those 'free' adult cam sites (e.g., LiveJasmin) and very, very few of the girls make decent money. Most work long hours for what amounts to maybe a little more than minimum wage.

I didn't say that all the girls on those sites make great money, I said some of the girls are making great money. It is a fact that if you are a top 100 model on the most popular web cam site, that you will make at least 10K a month. You can dispute it all you want, but I know. As for the hours put in...you get back what you put in. To make 10K a month, you're probably camming 4-5 hours 4-5 days a week, and spending another 10 hours or so a week working on videos, pictures, profile, answering emails, setting up private shows, etc.

All I was suggesting is, rather than ask people if she can make it in porn, why not have her test the waters for herself? The legit porn business is almost impossible to just "get in to". You need to have some experience, so why not try camming as a stepping stone?

Sugarpie nailed it. Anyone can be in porn. To be "successful" at it is something else entirely.

Sure she got the body. But does she have the face? That's one of the most important things. Also that attitude of 'getting payed, fine with having face on cam' makes me think she doesn't want that at all. So why bother with somebody that's just uncomfortable when there's plenty out there that are happy to show it all and get money as a bonus. Doubt she'd make it in porn.
