Yes, I agree. I was offline for maybe 6 hours and I come back and everyone is yelling at each other. I don't get it. I didn't even see the content in question.

Lets make a chill out lounge.....

We need some kind of "time out" function on here for the little WBW children that get out of line.

Or just a place where they can be like kids and call each other names...

I think the reason all this arguements and other issues come up is because of all these new guys who are joining are trying to state offensive ideals to people, and wbw members really don't care for it. Then their are others that are not as mature as they think themselves to be.

Has anyone else noticed the increase of users who name themselves a generic, cliche name or random letters plus a few numbers? Then they post like twenty total, and never come back. Sure I'll admit that I joined the day that registration was required, but I was going to join anyways because of the cool community.

IMHO:

Just like anytime you join a new club, you come in with your ideas of what the club is for. Some of us wait to see what the rules/guidelines/accepted policies of the new club are. Some of us just jump in, and try to be part of the crowd.

Those of us that have been around for a bit in the club, know what is accepted, and what isn't. Sometimes we help the new members get accustomed to the "policies". Sometimes we roll our eyes at the new guys, and hope they understand that thier actions are not acceptable.

One of the problems is that with the internet, there isn't that limitation of what you would do in Real Life, under these circumstances. I doubt any of us would barge into a Bar, and demand that things be done thier way. Nor would any of us be rude to the guy that just walked into the bar, looking for help.

One thing that *I* often forget, is that WBW is not an "American" site. It's a global community. What is and isn't acceptable to an "American" is not the same for a Brit, a Dane, an Italian, etc. SO I have to try and think about where the person is located, and try and understand it from thier perspective. Ultimately, I have to look at it as I think Diz-X and Senja would handle it.

There has to be some give and take from all sides- Members and Crew have to be understanding of how a 'newbie' might look at WBW, while those new to the site have to understand what is, and isn't allowed here.

I'm sorry if I have lost my cool with anyone. It was nothing personal. Meet me half way, and I'll be more than happy to help anyway possible. BUT! Be a jerk to me, and don't be suprised if I react negatively towards ya.
