Great answer! But not quite what he was lookig for, I'm sure.

Ok then. Just use photoshop tools to select wanted are. Then use Level tool to enhance the lightings, THen use Dodge and Burn tools carefully to adjust the critical areas. Finally use Brightness and contrast to adjust the final image.

Takes some practising, but in the end is pretty easy=)

You can start with images I've done. That way you can be sure there is the data needed...Here's a couple of more quickies...
