Wow, who is #443?
mmm, you are a bit ahead of what I had planned for the future, a new Thread called Vintage Elegant Ladies, a tribute to the elegant beauties of a bygone era. More to follow....
Whether it takes off...time will tell. Syd
Her name is Laura Misch, here is a short Profile of her:
Movies: Mandingo (1975), Hard Times (1975), Crypt of Dark Secrets (1976), Olly, Olly, Oxen Free (1978), French Quarter (1978), Mardi Gras Massacre (1978)
TV: A Shadow in the Streets (TV movie) (1975)
Born: Nov. 23, 1953, Tulsa, OK
Laura is the second of three daughters of an engineer and a school teacher. At age 19, she moved to Louisiana and got a job working as a Bunny at the Playboy Club in New Orleans.
Her pictorial was titled Delta Lady.
While living in New Orleans she met and married a cop named Eddie; the couple later got divorced.
Laura acted in a handful of movies in the mid to late 1970s that were made on location in New Orleans; she often played prostitutes. She also appeared in a TV commercial for Miller Lite beer.
Laura eventually moved to Miami. She got a job as a bartender and later at “The Miami Herald,” working her way up to be a reporter. In 1986, she moved to Denver, and worked for “The Rocky Mountain News.”
Laura met and married her second husband Joe Watt in Denver.
In 1997 Laura wrote her first novel “Carry Me Back” under her married name of Laura Watt. She wrote fiction full time for a while before becoming a regular contributing writer for “The Denver Post.”
I will endeavor to obtain some more of her for you. Syd.
