Can anyone tell me what codec I need? Or what program you are viewing these with?

I tried a couple, they crash my vlc player.

Some reposts but some other really nice ones. Thanks.

Google a prog called G-Spot, this prog also may be found at free codec sites. D/L G-spot and drag and drop the video your having troubles with and it'll tell you what codec you need to install. It'll also tell you if the codec already exsists in your system and a total of how many codecs are currently residing in your system too.

Thank you for that tip. It doesn't recognize the downloads as valid avi files, I'm guessing the avi container doesn't match up with the encoding, I did get a couple to play in Windows Media Player, the others I had to reencode myself to view.

I had to change the files to .avi from .flv, just change them back and everything should work fine!

I've used the G-Spot program before, but it wouldn't recognize any of the files I downloaded from this thread.

Excellent work, as to be expected!

I have found within the last several years the need to change file extensions for videos that dont work and test and play and see what works with what.

I don't know why this is, I suspect some people think its a joke or possibly don't know what their doing.
