ok i downloaded these who i think are nice movies with a girl named Katie Kean or somthing anyway they are looong movies and they are on a format called Div3.. what is that? how do i get it? why cant kazaa play it?

You can't play it because you haven't got the right codec installed to play it.
Best you can do is install this codec pack, includes a lot of codecs that are usualy used playing movies:
