The history on the Speed 12 is amazing. They used 2 Tuscan speed six engines, turbocharged them to race spec, then mated them into the Tuscan Speed 12 in the 90's, designed to beat the McLaren F1 for fastest road car. It was never properly tested, because it broke TVR's dyno. The test was never finished, and it's true bhp never revealed. It was deemed too wild and uncontrollable to be road driven, and the project cancelled. A few years back they took the original design, restricted it down to 800bhp to curtail it's wild tendencies, and called it the Cerbera Speed 12.
