because they dont get a bit better gas mileage then Civics, Prius, Yaris, Cobalt/Cruze, and other compact cars or even some midsize cars. They are expensive for no more car then you get.

The bad news is (as of April 2011) the company is having problems and the SMART CAR might be discontinued. I can't understand that, when gasoline is $4.00 a gallon!
