Looks like a genuine original British AC Cobra - hopefully so and not a replica. Originally designed and built by AC Cars Lrd, Thames Ditton, England with a 2 litre 4 cylinder power plant and named as the AC Ace (fixed head coupe version was named the Aceca), the installation of a Ford 4.7 litre V8 with Holly twin choke carburettor as an alternative (the Cobra version) resulted in a little British sports car that was comfortable in town traffic and went like a rocket when the opportunity arose to enjoy its performance and very capable roadholding manners. The lack of external door handles still foxes people! A late 1950's, early 1960's classic hand built British sports car still sought after the world over. Shelby saw the potential in it and results he achieved are well known.
