Even if you are doing everything right . . . I'm never comfortable till he drives off in another direction instead of driving behind me.

I know the feeling. When I drove coast (Venice Beach) to coast ((Key West) in 2010 I was checked out several times (out of State [CAL] plates) . I was stopped once in Clarendon, Tex, for jumping a red light. The Deputy let me off as I worked for the British Probation Service.
