A small series of 50 cars – this was designer Robert Palm's plans when he presented his new interpretation of the Jaguar E-Type in February 2012. It will appear as Lyonheart K. Spurred on by numerous customer inquiries, the plans are now becoming more ambitious: instead of 50 cars, 250 will be built, and in addition to the coupe there will also be a convertible. The E-Type clone is powered by a five-liter V8 engine with 575 hp and 700 Newton meters of torque. The machine from Cosworth accelerates the retro racer to 100 km/h in less than four seconds, and the electronics lock down at 300 km/h. The majority of the 250 cars will remain in Europe. The manufacturer wants to deliver 70 percent on the home continent. Ten percent go to the Middle East, the rest is planned for Asian customers. The luxury manufacturer plans to hand over the first vehicles to customers in 2014; according to Lyonheart, the waiting time from ordering is 18 to 24 months.
