That's... unusual, given the E-Type is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever produced, but I can relate. There's something about E-Type's proportions that feels awkward - I can't put my finger on it, but there is more harmony in the design of MK1 and MK2 in my opinion.

The curve of the sides make the wheels sit too far in. Lightweight racers look "right".
