Fabulous photo. I remember seeing Jody Scheckter race in the 1973 USGP in a McLaren. He had an animated style that always made him look like he was going fast. He was the opposite of Jackie Stewart - who looked slow on practice day but was always ahead on lap times. Ronnie Peterson won the race in Lotus-Ford, with James Hunt's Hesketh-Ford not far behind.

Sadly, the race was overshadowed by the death of François Cevert in practice the day before. The entire Tyrell team withdrew, and Stewart was not there to compete with those other great drivers on race day.
