they call it dodge viper in the us, because it is the us version off the viper. the us version has sidepipes. the crysler viper is thought for european market . it has only a backside muffler.
other example is dodge neon and chrysler neon. in europ , you only can by the chrysler one.
but, dodge is a member of the daimlerchrysler group. it`s almost the same familiy. here in germany you can by at your lokal chrysler dealer jeep, chrysler, and dodge .

Is it so that dudes in Europe call that chrysler and us-dudes dodge?
Why is that so? The same thing is with Opel and Vauxhall(or however they spell it..)
