The Hotel Lincoln opened on January 11, 1902, and it quickly became the place to stay on the way between Spokane and Everett. The hotel was (at its time) luxury, featuring electricity, an upscale restaurant, and, after a remodel in 1912, steam heating. It is currently under restoration.
