1956 Fiat Series 306/2 Grand Prix Transporter. It was commissioned by Maserati to haul Formula One cars and gear around Europe during the ’57 and ’58 seasons, and carried the Maserati 250F which Juan Manuel Fangio drove to win the ’57 title. Lance Reventlow bought it to serve as Scarab’s Grand Prix transporter for ’60 and ’61.
In 1962, Carroll Shelby bought it to haul his Shelby American team of Cobra Daytona coupes around Europe for the Sports Car World Championship. From there it worked for Lotus, David Piper and Alan Mann.
Ben-D-Over, romar57, WesternPerv, Snozz_69 find this awesome.
