I remember in the 1980s/90s a Type 55 was sold at auction. At the time it was considered the most original T55 in the World. It had "sat in" creases to the leather seats, the paint had a few minor scuffs, etc., in other words perfect patina. The new, Japanese, owner had it repainted in "two pack", reupholstered, wheels ultra polished and all nickel plating, chromed. Sacrilege.
