The Bond Minicar was designed to be used by people with motorcycle licences, and had no reverse gear, but if the steering stops were modified, i.e. cut off , you could turn the engine,gearbox and drive wheel 180 degrees and drive backwards. The starter was a pull lever under the dashboard, as well as a kickstart on the engine/gearbox.
