this truck used to be known as the Budweiser Boss back in the late 80s and early 90s. he started out entering his truck in the 4wd class at truck pulls, but ended up getting banned because no one could beat him. after that, this guy became notorious for running at truck pulls, offering a $10,000 cash prize to anyone who could beat him. i was at a monster truck and tractor pull event at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1989 when bob chandler, who owns the bigfoot monster truck team, challenged gary collins and the boss and damn near beat him in a side by side truck pull. to the best of my knowledge, chandler is the only driver to get close, unlike anyone else he ever ran against.
