This unit from Paling of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is seen carrying 200 tons of finished coil product. This rig has a great 400BHP Cat diesel mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission. That's 4 forward and 4 reverse gears, and yes, it can go just as fast in reverse as it does going ahead. She has a top speed of 30 MPH which is just fast enough for me when she has 400,000 lbs on her back! Total weight when she's loaded reads out at 400,000 lbs of cargo... 45,000 lbs for the pallet... the bare truck weighs in at 165,000 lbs. Stay the hell out of the way!!!
