The Ace was the original 1950's hand built British sports car made by AC Cars on which the Cobra was based and the solid roof coupe version made by AC Cars was called the Aceca. The Cobra was also originally built by AC Cars and was basically an Ace with the 2 litre Bristol engine replaced by a 4.7 litre Ford V8 and Holly downdraft twin choke carburretor. Lovely machines that have well and truly stood the test of time and a credit to the original design concept.
