Zodiac Aerospace in France patented the design a year or so ago. They call it "economy class cabin hexagon."
Currently only Quantum Air and British Airways have it. It'll become more and more ubiquitous. It allows the airlines to put more bodies in a smaller cabin, maximizing profits. Since Zodiac owns the patent they'll surely license it to others like Boeing. Despite how it looks, it actually lives passengers four more inches of legroom VS economy fore-facing seats, and studies show it's safer in a crash.
