Either a 1955 or 56 Pontiac Chieftain,if it has the original motor it would be a 317 cubic inch V8 (quite possibly with a HydraMatic automatic transmission. These models also had many of the factory offered accessories such as power steering & brakes, deluxe radios with foot operated switches to search for stations. I believe they also offered leather interiors. On this convertible it would have been hydraulic operated from the drivers position. As can be seen by the photo......they were(in the slang of the day) "pussy wagons" of the highest order. Some memories never fade.
