By the way, and I have no idea that the Administrators and WBW Crew will read this, but I clearly enjoy this site, and drop in every day or so to view new pics, and to leave comments, which is an entertaining activity while I enjoy my morning coffee....As a 12,000+ comments "demigod," I have a question for the WBW Crew...I try to be as complimentary and as occasionally witty as I can be in my comments, as I find reading others' comments entertaining, an' I always hope that my remarks are, likewise, sometimes entertaining to some other visitors and members.
I also try very hard to avoid any controversial or unsuitable comments, or words, or any prejudicial or offensive terms or remarks...but I find that with every visit many of my comments are summarily deleted...if I make 20 comments one day, 8 or 10 of them are apparently deleted by my next visit...sometimes the ratio is lower, sometimes higher...I just wonder what it is about roughly half of my 'daily' comments on pictures that the WBW CREW finds should be deleted....I read them over before I hit "Give Comment" and try to be very sensitive to avoiding any low-brow, off-color, or offensive remarks...this is supposed to be fun and entertaining, and I try to keep that in mind with every comment...I read many comments that, frankly, I am very surprised are NOT deleted for one reason or another. The WBW Crew does a great job with this site, and I mean no denegration or criticism of their hard work and great energy at maintaining this superb site...I just wonder why I can hardly ever drop in and make comments on 15 or 20 pics and then not find upon my next visit that half of them were apparently deleted...I never know which ones, and probably could not go back and check on that, either. But when I look at my comments count today, and look at it again tomorrow or the next day, the number is always lower by several comments, and that tells me that the WBW Crew deleted a bunch of my pic comments shortly after I posted them....I just wish I knew why.
If I am ever making an unseemly remark that they find offensive, I'd gladly mend my ways....I don't want to offend anyone, just like I don't want to be offended myself...But I really like this site, and enjoy diving in and reading comments, and making them....I'd just really love to know why a good number of the comments I leave on pics are deleted by the WBW Crew, usually within a 24 hour period ...that remains a mystery to me...and I wonder if other commenters experience anything similar...
