PETA Urges Ben & Jerry's To Use Human Milk WATERBURY, Vt. -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben & Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman."PETA's request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the statement says. The plan will completely backfire on PETA when Ben and Jerry's actually starts doing it, and fetishists travel hundreds of miles to buy the stuff. But PETA still won't realize it backfired. Just like when they paint naked hot chicks and put them in cages to show just how wrong putting animals in cages is. They still don't realize how ineffective the protest is no matter how many guys walk up, chuckle, and say "Baby, I don't see anything wrong with this!" |

Animals are SENTIENT also. I don't SEE anything wrong WITH this. They're not GOING to chain up the women IN stalls and kick THEM UNTIL milk comes out, NG. RANDOM caplocked WORDS. Many pregnant women use baby formula anyway, and so they just spend their time lactating for no reason. They might as well be able to ship it off somewhere and receive a check for it, instead of not getting paid to have it seep out embarrassingly onto their shirts in public like they currently do. I mean, it's quite bizarre, and I wouldn't exactly be the first in line to try their new recipes. But there's nothing (or at least, very little) inherently wrong with the idea. It's just weird.  |

PETA is a horrible group of mostly morons. They firmly believe that death is better than the "slavery" of being a pet, and routinely adopt and then kill large numbers of dogs and cats from shelters. The fact that they've been allowed to continue as a registered non-profit, instead of jailed or killed, is a travesty. |
