2008 Indy 500

Yo guys, well that time is almost here for that badass race!!! Just wanted to see if anyones plannin or going this year. Last year I got my cherry popped and I will never miss another race!!! My brother has been going for almost 20 years now and hasn't missed a year! If you guys haven't been, even if you don't follow indy, GO!! Get a bunch of buddies together, rent a lot for the weekend, popup tents, RV's, what ever you have. It's a NON-STOP party from Thursday night till after the race on Sunday....Girls, booze, stuff(cough cough), what ever you want, its there! I myself dont follow indy but damn it was so awesome to walk tot track watch the race and get fucked up! For those of you who don't know when it is, Memorial Day weekend! Goto google, type in INDY500. All the info is there. Anyways, thought I would share. (beer)

Never been to an Indy race, have watched it on tv before, but its been years since I've done that, maybe some day just for fun I'll go...

Watching it on TV is one thing. Being at the track is a whole different experience.

As it is with any race, its a completely different experience when you go, watching it on tv is never the same after that...

i agree.watching any motorsport at the actual event is way more boring than watching it on tv.or maybe thats coz in britain you have to stand freezin ur balls off.ha

indy is 500, wow and a new film released this year as well! impressive

shiiiiiiiiiiiit, man you can buy tickets at the gate for $20! I stood on the infield, turn 3. I was hangin on the fence the entire time! Was a blast...get a few boys together, all pitch in for the lot (Camping spot) then its all good! I'd say 100 buck would do you more than enough for the weekend.
