Ive never had a problem with this car, I pulled the original engine, dropped in a stroked 350 (383) and beefed the rearend where the spring sits on, now this SOB launches like a rocket with street tires, Id almost bet with slicks it would pull the front wheel

I owned (briefly) one of these new...it was BRG with black leather, automatic...GM Factory-authorized a complete repaint because the fit, finish an' paint was so miserably substandard.
The T-Tops leaked - so did the removable plastic rear window...Electrical relays were another problem that plagued the interior lights, dash lights, an' some gauges.
I sold the car after about three months - half of which was spent in the shop for one reason or another. 'I kept wishing I had kept my '66 silver Sting Ray roadster...now THAT was a great car...
The Seventies were both sad an' bad times for the Corvette...an' it didn't get much better in the Eighties...
